Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not necessary for our Jackson Heights or West Hempstead locations; walk-ins are welcome. For our private showroom in East Elmhurst, an appointment is needed. For our showcase display at House of Events in Forest Hills, walk-ins are welcome.
Do you sell samples or have gowns in stock?
Yes, our samples can be purchased and we also carry several gowns in stock for those who do not have time to wait for an order.
What do I need for my first bridal fitting?
You will need to have shoes, undergarments, and slips. We sell all of these items to accommodate our brides.
What type of other gowns do you sell?
Bridesmaids, Quinceañera, Mother-of-the-bride/groom, Flower girls, Maid, and matron of honor, Pageants, Proms, Elegant evening wear, Sweet 15/16, First Communion, Confirmations
Do you have payment options?
Full payments are not necessary. When you place an order we require a 50% deposit, payable with cash, check or credit card. If you would like to break up your final 50% and send in partial payments you may also do so.
What is the price range for the dresses in your store?
We offer a wide variety of gowns and dresses in all price points from under $200 to just over $2,000.
What is included in the rental package?
From $69-$99 you get a jacket, trouser, shirt, appropriate tie, cummerbund or vest.
Black shoes and fancy accessories are additional charge.
From $100 and $189 includes everything stated above plus shoes.
How long is the rental period?
We have a 3-Day rental policy. For example, if the occasion date is on a Saturday, you would pick up the tuxedo on Friday and return it Monday at anytime.
Do you rent single items? (i.e. vest or coat)
Yes, if you just need a coat, pants, or vest/tie we’ll gladly rent it out with the same rental policy as above.
How much is the security deposit fee?
Security deposit fee depends on whether the rental is for a single item, single person or for a group. Please contact us for information on the security deposit procedure.
What happens if the garment is damaged or lost?
You are responsible to get the garment back to us in good condition. If the garment is lost we will bill you for the replacement cost and if it is damaged we will charge for the repair costs. If a damaged garment cannot be repaired, you will be charged for a replacement.
I need the tuxedo for an out of town event, how would that work?
It depends on many factors, the time of year, the length of time you would need it and the style you are renting. Please call us for more information.
What colors are available for Tuxedos besides black?
Aside from traditional black tuxedos, they are also available in colors such as: white, grey, brown, ivory, navy blue, red, tan, and green.
Do you have the Cadet uniform available?
Yes, we carry Cadet Uniforms. You will not see these Cadet uniforms anywhere else, they our own exclusive company branded and are available in black, navy blue, ivory, white and just recently added for 2011, electric blue.
Do you have enough tuxedos for the chambelanes in my court of honor?
Yes, we have done many Quince parties with 15-20 chambelanes, so no matter the size of your court…we’ve got you covered.
If I rent a tuxedo and need it for the same day, will it be possible?
Of course, we have more than plenty of tuxedos in stock and we also have professional tailoring on site. If you need it right away, we’ve got you covered.
How long does it take for a tuxedo to come in if it’s not in stock?
It could take up to the next business day. However, we always let you know on the spot if it’s available.
